Taro Tsunoda is a partner handling a wide range of corporate and financial matters with a focus on cross-border transactions involving Japanese entities. In addition, he regularly advises foreign clients on various Japanese　law matters including, corporate, securities regulations, antitrust, employment, bankruptcy and reorganization. He also has experience in international arbitration before the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC.

In order to support the business growth of both international and domestic clients, Yas Fuke handles not only M&A and other transactions, but also deals with various business regulations, and provides advice and handles problems on general corporate legal matters such as corporate law and labor law.

Jun Ishii handles various corporate matters in Japan and other countries. He provides support to Japanese corporations for their investments, M&As and management of their subsidiaries in many countries in cooperation with local law firms. In particular, he is familiar with legal practice in Latin America since he has experience with working for major law firms in Brazil and Chile. In Japan, he assists both Japanese and foreign clients mainly for their general corporate matters and M&As (including providing legal support for the incorporation and operation of the Japanese subsidiaries of foreign clients). Recently, he has also begun focusing on providing legal advice to clients in the gaming and other entertainment industries.

Yosuke Nishiyama advises across a wide spectrum of cross border transactions. In particular, he regularly advises international clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, cross border investments, and corporate restructurings. His core practice areas include information technology, energy and the manufacturing sector, with specific expertise in metals, machinery, automotive, semiconductors, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. In addition to transactional work, he also has extensive experience of advising on compliance with regulatory regimes, including data protection and privacy, telecommunications, foreign direct investment (FDI), financial services, consumer protection and employment laws. He has also advised on numerous data breach incidents across multiple jurisdictions and supported clients in cross border investigations under competition and consumer protection laws, providing crisis management advice throughout these matters. He is professionally proficient in Japanese, English and Spanish, enabling him to engage seamlessly with clients, counterparties and regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
